What to Expect at Your First Visit

In the first 1-3 days after hospital discharge, your baby’s initial visit will include a comprehensive physical exam by our experienced providers. If you choose to breastfeed, we offer a thorough breastfeeding evaluation to support your feeding choices and ensure an optimal bonding experience.

Get Started on the Right Foot

Here are some helpful tips for a smooth start with our practice

Allow several weeks for your insurance plan to activate coverage for your baby.
Ensure your paperwork is received by your insurer for coverage before your baby’s one-month check to avoid out-of-pocket costs.
Your baby’s first few visits are scheduled as newborn follow-ups, offering one-on-one time with our newborn specialist or one of our other providers.
Routine well-child visits begin at one month of age.
Complete the required paperwork sent via email or text before your appointment to avoid rescheduling.
