Amanda McGahee, M.D.
Dr. McGahee was raised here in Kennesaw, Georgia and was even a patient of East Cobb Pediatrics when she was younger. At Vanderbilt University, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology as well as a degree in Psychology. She earned her Medical Degree and completed her residency at The Medical College of Georgia in 2008. Following her residency, she became a staff pediatrician for Tanner Medical Center and Children’s Health Care of West Georgia. She joined our practice in 2012.
Dr. McGahee and her husband, A.J., have two children, Rachel and Anthony. A.J. is the Head Coach of Top Dog Wrestling, and many weekends you can find Dr. McGahee volunteering or cheering on the team and her son at wrestling events. She also enjoys watching musical theater, especially when her daughter is performing! Dr. McGahee’s other interests include reading and gardening.
