Marisa Gadea, M.D.

Dr. Gadea, our beloved physician and managing partner, fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a pediatrician, graduating from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in 1983. After completing her residency and NICU training in Argentina, she moved to the United States. Driven by her passion, she conducted clinical research in infectious diseases before embarking on a second residency at the Marshall School of Medicine, earning distinctions as Alpha Omega Alpha and Chief Resident.

After exploring opportunities at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, she moved to the city and became part of the hospital’s staff pediatricians. In 1997, her journey led her to East Cobb Pediatrics, where she eagerly became a valued member of our team.

Dr. Gadea’s compassionate and empathetic nature shapes her approach to pediatric care. Her commitment to her patients fosters strong relationships built on open communication. She remains up-to-date with the latest medical advancements to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatments. Dr. Gadea is culturally sensitive and respectful, recognizing the diversity of her patients. She shares her life with her husband, Yassine, and their two children, Sammy and Sophia.
